RecoverySculpt Massage
FAQ

What Is A RecoverySculpt Massage?

Post-Surgical Massage is similar to Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage where gentle hand techniques are used to facilitate the movement of fluid to expedite healing.

Who Is A Candidate For This Treatment?

This massage is ideal for anyone who received invasive cosmetic surgery such as Liposuction, Brazilian Butt Lift, and/or a Tummy Tuck.

How Will I Benefit From This Massage?

This specialized technique helps by moving built-up fluid back into the lymphatic passages where excess waste and fluid can be flushed from the body. This prevents fibrosis formation (thick fibrous scar tissue), as well as reduces swelling and bruising.

When Should I Start My RecoverySculpt Massage?

Ideally, massages should begin immediately after surgery to prevent the possible formation of fibrosis. I've had post-op patients anywhere from a few weeks - months - even years, reveal improved results after some tender lymphatic care.

Can Other Modalities Be Used During My Recovery Massage?

Immediately after surgery, your body is in a fragile state. It has undergone a tremendous amount of trauma. Our Goal at Cryo.BeautyBar is to facilitate HEALING. No additional machines (CryoSkin, Cavitation, Laser Lipo, etc.) will be used until 3 months post-op, as this may impede recovery.

Do You Open Sutures During A RecoverySculpt Massage Session?

Unless your Surgeon left your sutures open to drain, Cryo.BeautyBar has a strict no-touch policy on sutures (as this can lead to infection).

How Many RecoverySculpt Massages Will I Need?

The number of sessions is determined during an in-person evaluation, but typically 8-10 massages are recommended.

How long Is A Recovery massage?

A single massage lasts 40-60 minutes.
